If You're Suffering From a Sinus Infection, and Want a Natural Remedy Keep Reading. This site tells my personal story of how I overcame a terrible sinus infection using a natural remedy.
Back in October 2002 I came down with a terrible cold. When the cold seemed to have run its course I noticed that my stuffy nose wouldn't go away. Sometimes I'd blow and nothing would come out, but it would still be clogged. Other times I'd blow and a little mucus would come out. However my nose never truly felt clear. Needless to say, that constant stuffy feeling was a pain. My throat was always dry because I couldn't breathe out of my nose. My ears were often clogged because I was constantly trying to blow through a stuffed nose. My sense of taste and smell were just about gone. Two weeks later into this torture I decided to go the doctor. His diagnosis was that I had an acute sinus infection. "Great!" I thought. The doctor will be able to give me some nose spray, and I'll be on my way. Not so in my case. I was breastfeeding my then 4-month old. So most nasal sprays were out of the question. I did get a round of antibiotics though. (And without health insurance it cost me a cool $150 for that first round - DING!) When that batch didn't work I went back for round two of the antibiotics. Round two seemed like it was working a little bit at first. Then my sinuses tightened back up, and once again I sounded like the woman with the neverending cold. I decided not to go back for round three because I was breastfeeding, and I just didn't want my daughter getting any more traces of those drugs. The doctor's say they're safe. But I didn't want my daughter being the helpless, little guinea pig. Another three weeks went by and I started getting sinus headaches and toothaches. These two made the symptoms I had before seem like a walk in the park. Before I was annoyed by this stuffy nose. Now I was in real pain. My left eye was often swollen. The areas around the sinuses on my face were very sensitive to touch. But I think those toothaches were the WORSE! The gums around my upper front teeth would throb in pain. Everytime my daughter would cry my face and teeth would respond with more heartbeat-like throbbing. After two months of this torture I felt like I was going crazy. I didn't want anymore drug-related therapies, because I didn't want to stop breastfeeding. But I was growing weary of this ongoing pain. It was so bad at times I felt like I was drowing... like water had completely filled my nasal passages.
At that point I was quickly on my way to weaning my daughter and having surgery.Yes... surgery! It was so awful I didn't even want to experiment with any more antibiotics. I just wanted sinus surgery and nothing else.
But in the midst of my nasal insanity I decided to take a look at some more natural remedies. My research took me to a few potential sinus infection cures. But only one that I reallydecided to follow. CLICK HERE To Discover The RemedyThat Worked For Me...
